2023: APGA Releases Her Scheduled Timetable For 2022 Primary Election

Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA has released a scheduled timetable to guide activities.

 

The scheduled timetable reads in full:

In compliance with the INEC Timetable and Schedule of Activities for 2023 General Election dated February 26, 2022 and pursuant to its powers under the APGA Constitution 2019 and the Electoral Act 2022, the National Executive Committee of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) hereby approve the following provisional Timetable/Schedule of Activities for 2022 Primary Election for the nomination of APGA candidates in the 2023 General Election:

 

1. SALE, RETURN OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/NOMINATION FORMS AND SCREENING OF PROSPECTIVE ASPIRANTS

PLEASE NOTE:

a. There shall be no sale of Ad-Hoc Delegates Forms.

 

b. Female aspirants and aspirants living with disability shall pay only 50% of the fees stipulated above for both the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

 

c. All Forms are obtainable with ONLY Bank Draft/ Manager’s Cheque (non-refundable) made payable to ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE, ABUJA.

 

d. Upon completion, the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms shall be returned to the Point of Purchase, accompanied by all relevant documents and qualifying credentials.

 

e. The Party reserves the right and discretion to issue Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms to credible and eligible aspirants, any time, before the date for the scheduled primary election.

 

f. Only eligible and suitably qualified prospective aspirants are invited to purchase, complete and return the Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

 

g. The dates specified above are subject to change. Consequently, given the vagaries of primary election, the Party reserves the right to make adjustments/changes to the dates specified above in accordance with INEC Timetable and Schedule of Activities for 2023 General Election.

 

h. Prospective aspirants are urged to ensure strict compliance with the stipulated timelines in this Public Notice as well as the provisions of the APGA Constitution 2019, APGA Electoral Guidelines for Primary Election 2022, and the Electoral Act 2022.
