2023 Election: INEC Insists On Electronic Transmission Of Result

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has insisted on Electronic Transmission of results in the 2023 General Elections and other forthcoming Elections in the country.
In a statement signed by Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Commission on behalf of INEC, the commission stated that “result transmission remains the same as in recent Governoship elections in Ekiti and Osun states.
Furthermore, “There will be no change in all future elections, including the 2023 General Elections.”
Recall that recently, there were rumours that transmission of results in the 2023 General Elections will be manually done.
The Electoral umpire further assured Nigerians of it’s commitment to ensure free and credible election.
