Anambra2021: Another APGA Stakeholder and Member of House Of Representative Joins APC
Few day ago, Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji, a governorship Aspirant under the All Progressive Grand Alliance has defected to All Progressive Congress, APC.
Until his Defection, Hon Chukwuma Umeoji was a Fractional Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA who was disqualified by the Victor Oye faction for working against the party and other stated reasons.
Following the disqualification, Umeoji had filled series of cases against the party.
Few days ago, he joined the APC to support the candidacy of the Senator Andy Uba
Recall that the Anambra Election is slated to hold on November 6, 2021.

“NOTICE OF DEFECTION”
After the State and Constituency wide consultation and having made other political considerations, Our Principal and Federal Lawmaker Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji KSJI, AMNIM, FCPA, MHR has decided continue his political activism in the All Progressives Congress Party, APC with his entire political structure across the 326 wards in Anambra State.
This may come as a shock to many having spent a better part and years of his political journey in the All Progressives Grand Alliance party, APGA, were he held several positions both in the Government and party level and contributed immensely to the growth and stability of the party – perhaps, this decision is for the best interest of his Constituents, Supporters and Millions of followers across the State and in the Diaspora and in line with his ideology of inclusive political leadership and Nation Building.
This decision became paramount when the All Progressives Grand Alliance party, APGA prevented our Principal the opportunity to exercise his right as a party man and other Intimidations that ensued.
Consequently, APGA was no longer a platform that had the interest of the people of Anambra State and ndị Igbo at heart rather that of a very few who do not mean well for our people and the State rather would chorus a deceitful Nkea Bu Nke Anyị just to lure innocent people and have them fleeced to the point of death.
The aspiration and the plight of many Anambra people and his supporters would be better realised in the APC than the APGA, hence he has hearkened to the plea and public outcry of his Campaign Organisation, Supporters Group with structure across the 21 Local Government Area of Anambra State and numerous discerning ndị Anambra both at Home and in the Diaspora who believes in the Chukwuma Umeoji political School of Thought to join the All Progressives Congress Party to continue to contribute his quota to Nation binding and attract dividends of democracy to Aguata Federal Constituency and Anambra State at large.
In the coming days, Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji KSJI, AMNIM, FCPA, MHR shall make public declaration to his Millions of Supporters and adent followers whom he had hearkened to their plea to leave the APGA party and join the “REAL PROGRESSIVES” in the APC for the interest of Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
