
BREAKING: Court Awards N200,000 Cost Against FG In Favour Of IPOB’S Nnamdi Kanu’s Co-Defendants
Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday awarded N50,000 cost in favour of the four co-defendants of leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, amounting to N200,000.
Mazi Benjamin Mmadubugwu, Mazi Bright Chimezie Ishinwa, Mazi David Nwawuisi And Mazi Chidiebere Onwudiwe had yesterday arrived the Federal High Court, Abuja along Barrister Aloy Ejimakor and his legal team, for the continuation of their terrorism trial.
At the proceeding, the Presiding Judge, Justice Binta Nyako awarded N50,000 cost in favour of the four co-defendants of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, amounting to N200,000. He held that this cost was for time wasting and unnecessary stress.
According to Binta Nyanko, the case has been on hearing since 2015 and has lacked justification as the Federal Government keeps stressing the case further.
