Breaking News: IPOB Issues Strong Warning To FG, Declares Sit-At-Home

The Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) in an attempt to secure the release of their leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who was allegedly arrested in Kenya, has issued a strong warning to the Federal Government and the SouthEast Governors.

In a press statement issued on the 28th of July 2021 and signed by Mazi Chika Edoziem, Head of Directorate of the Indigenous People of Biafra on behalf of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has demand for the unconditional release of her leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on or before the 8th of August, 2021.

According to the Press Statement, failure to meet this demand will warrant a total lockdown of Biafraland from the 9th of August, 2021 and will continue on every Monday until the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released.

This according to them, is one of the many steps that shall be taken to ensure the release of the leader of IPOB
