Breaking News: Revealed, How The Speaker of Imo State Assembly Was Impeached
Imo State is currently on fire. Hon Paul Emeziem the speaker of Imo State House of Assembly has been impeached this morning, Monday, Novermber 8, 2021 and on the verge of being replaced by Hon Kennedy Ibeh.
Ibeh, who is the member representing Obowo State Constituency, was sworn in immediately as the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly.
It was reported that 19 of the 27 lawmakers signed the impeachment papers.
According to reports, the speaker tried removing the Deputy speaker without knowing that the Deputy speaker has his own plans of removing him. Uzodinma invaded the House of Assembly to save Amara Iwuanyanwu, impeached Deputy Speaker.
Speaker was denied entry by security operatives on Uzodinma’s order.
