
CHIEF SYDNEY ONYEJEPU FOUNDATION HELD STRATEGIC MEETING.

The meeting called for urgent steps towards the forthcoming Anambra Gubernatorial Election slated for November 6th.
In his welcome address, Hon Andy Nnodu the Chairman of Chief Sydney Onyejepu foundation, warmly welcome every member of the foundation and thanked them for carving out time to attend the meeting. Hon Nnodu noted that the essence of the meeting is to look into the various issues confronting the foundation and possible strategies to adopt in the upcoming election.
In his briefly remarks, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget Monitoring and Implementation, Chief Sir Melie Onyejepu (Ogbuefi) laud the various local government coordinators of the foundation for their continuous support and reaffirmed his commitment towards supporting the foundation. He however urged the foundation members to remain focused, committed and steadfast.
Continuing, Chief Melie Onyejepu counselled the foundation members and put in words why loyalty, integrity and commitment is necessary in people’s identity.
According to Chief Melie Onyejepu, loyalty and integrity defined a person, it show’s the seriousness in an individual, create trust and courage, the state of being loyal to commitment or obligation is the key to attaining a greater height and as well admonished the foundation members to avoid and shun all manner’s of anti party practices.
Also speaking, Hon Andy Nnodu, seized the opportunity to remind the foundation members for more involvement towards the forthcoming gubernatorial election. This is necessary as to ensure that All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) emerge victoriously in the November 6th Governorship election. The meeting expressed support towards the views of Hon Nnodu as he put forward the name “ Operation Win Your Polling Boot”.
Responding, the coordinator of Ihiala local government– Mr Chigozie Elione pointed out the need for other coordinators to remain committed and devoted while pledging his full support for the betterment of the foundation.
Furthermore, Chief Ogbuefi Melie Onyejepu noted that in politics everyone is important and charged the foundation members to practice Politics of Inclusion.
The meeting extolled the virtues and achievements of the foundation. They noted that the foundation has brought prudence, innovation, human capital development in the various local government.
The meeting ended with great excitement as each member went home with a bag of rice, while thanking Chief Melie for being a wonderful host, expressed their readiness for the election.
