The Labour Party candidate for Anambra West State Constituency, Dr. Festus Chukwuemeka (Onowu White) on Friday 29th July, 2022 joined Ozoemena family of Omaga Village Ukwalla, to commiserate with them over the death of their father, uncle and brother, Late Pa. James Ozoemena (Alhaji Kogi)
While sympathizing with them, Dr. Festus defined Late Pa. James as a man of uprightness and conciliator in the entire community, he prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest. He equally used the opportunity to addressed the people and sensitized them on the need to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) in preparation for the upcoming elections to enable them exercise their franchise.
The Ozoemena family while welcoming Dr. Festus with his entourage, took turns to extol and appreciate his magnanimity and relationship with the people of Anambra West Constituency.
Speaking, Hon. Boniface Ozoemena, a brother to the deceased and Youth Leader Anambra West who is also the newly appointed Councilor for Olumbanasa Ward 1 thanked Dr. Festus for finding time to joined them in their moment of grief.
Another brother to the deceased, Dan Ozoemena who is a strong member of All Progressives Grand Alliance appreciated Dr. Festus on the visit to his family, describing him as a unifier and a peaceful gentleman who doesn’t discriminate.
John Ozoemena ( Nwa amulu na mma), a brother to the deceased and a staunch PDP in his separate speech expressed gratitude to Dr. Festus for his numerous support in their town and beyond. He called him “a man with exemplary lifestyle” who joins his people in moments of grief and happiness. He appreciated Dr. Festus for his unending solidarity in their trial times.
May the soul of Alhaji Kogi continue to rest in peace, Amen
