End Of Sit-At-Home In Anambra State: Prof Charles C. Soludo Attends Mass at St Joseph Cathedral, Ekwulobia.

As part of peace and reconciliation efforts in the state, the Anambra State Government had held a Peace and Security meeting at Prof Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre and called on all to lay down their arms. In the same light, the Sit-At-Home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra was also called and to mark this end, their was scheduled prayers to hold today, Monday, 04 April 2022.

 

Adhering to this, the executive governor of Anambra State, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo had today, Monday, 4th April, 2022 participated in mass celebration to officially signal an end to the sit-at-home order by non-state actors.

The mass which was held at the St Joseph Cathedral, Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State started at exactly 11:00am and was celebrated by the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Most Reverend Peter Okpalaeke.

 

This is part of the efforts of the New Anambra State Government led by Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo in restoring the peace and stability in the state.
