Graphic Video: Heavy Shootout At Ifite Area of Unizik, Awka
There was a heavy shootout at the Ifite Area of Unizik, Awka, Anambra State this morning.
According to information gathered, the incident which happened around Miracle Junction was between some armed robbers and the Security Operatives who were said to have been employed by the Students Union Government, SUG of Unizik.
The armed robbers and the Vigilante Group had exchanged bullets for couple of hours before two of the robbers were allegedly gunned down and one was caught and set ablaze.
We also gathered that one of them members of the vigilante group was also shot.
The gun battle had lasted for hours and had kept residents in the area on the run.
We also gathered that there was a robbery incident yesterday night and one of the robbers was caught by the vigilante group. As such, their members had come for rescue and had met their Waterloo.
