
High Chief Obiora Okonkwo Resigns From PDP, Joins a New Party
A Former PDP Stakeholder and aggrieved aspirant in the last concluded PDP Primaries, High Chief Obiora Okonkwo has officially left the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party, High Chief Obiora registered his grievances and reasons for leaving the party.
According to the letter, one of his reasons for leaving the party is the general lack of discipline, manipulation of the parties last concluded primaries, unlawful dissolution of the party’s structure, among others.
Recall that High Chief Obiora Okonkwo is one of the major stakeholders and financier in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. His resignation from the party was unexpected and a terrible blow to the party.
Sources has disclosed to our correspondent that he has joined the Zenith Labour Party in his pursuit to contest in the Novermber 6 Governorship Race and possibly become the next governor of Anambra State.
