HRH Igwe Prof Augustine Obiekezie Takes A Bow
It’s indeed an heartbreaking news for the family and people of Adazi-Nnukwu and everyone who encountered him.
He was a former DV Academics at the University of Calabar and Secretary Ndi Igwe Anaocha.
In a statement Issued by the Town and signed by Ichie Frank Madubuike, the President General of Adazi-Nnukwu and Chief Emma Ugwumba the Odu /Onowu of Adazi-Nnukwu, the Igwe-in-Council and the Adazi-Nnukwu Town Development Union (ATDU) have announced the passing away of His Royal Highness, Igwe (Prof.) Augustine Ikechukwu Obiekezie, Adama Adazi-Nnukwu who has embarked on a long journey on the 7th day of July, 2021
He battled with Colon Cancer which started in 2019.
According to the statement made available by the Town’s Union Government, the family has formally notified the town of the development and further details will be released later in consultation with the State Government.
