INEC Announces New Date for Physical Voters Registration
The Independent National Electoral Commission has on Friday, 16 July 2021, announced a new date for the commencement of the Physical Voters Registration.
In a statement signed by Rose Oriaran-Anthony, Secretary to the Commission on behalf of INEC and made available to the public, the Commission has adjusted the dates for the physical voters registration and scheduled appointments by online registrants.
According to the statement, there was a need to adjust the earlier scheduled date due to the public holidays which may likely affect the earlier scheduled dates.
The Commission has directed that Physical Registration of Voters will now commence on 26th July 2021 while online registrants that have scheduled appointments from 19th July 2021 to 23rd July 2021 will have their appointments rescheduled.
