The Academic Staff Union of Universities has announced the End of the long lingering ASUU warning strike, commences around round of indefinite strike.
The was announced on the official Twitter Handle of the union.
The tweet reads:
@ASUU_NGN Ends Warning Strike Tomorrow
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) will end its warning strike tomorrow (Monday), 9th of May 2022, as considerations on indefinite strike commence
The announcement had brought relief to most students who have been out of school for a couple of months now.
While they were still trying to digest the news, another announcement extending the news was made.

The National Executive Council, NEC, of the union made this known via press briefing few minutes ago.
“We have decided to extend the strike till August 1st, 2022” – @ASUUNGR Chairman
