Just In: NNPP Issues Statement On Peter Obi Vs Kwankwaso Ticket

The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP have stated a possible alliance between Mr. Peter Obi of Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP.
This is coming hours after Mr Peter Obi of Labour submitted Doyin Okupe’s name as running mate. Although according to reports, Doyin is a placeholder who is intended to hold the VP ticket while consultations for a better option continues. This was necessary to beat INEC’s deadline for submission of Candidates.
Rabiu of the New Nigeria People’s Party have also submitted a running mate to INEC.
The New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP has taken to her social media handle to announce that discussions are still ongoing for a possible alliance between Obi of Labour Party and Kwankwaso of The New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP
According to their statement, “special committee was set up to discuss arrangements.” They also stated their “hope for good results that will give Nigeria a chance to be alive, once again.”
