There has been rumors currently going round the media space regarding a fire outbreak at the Federal Ministry of Finance Headquarters, Abuja.
According to reports reaching us, there was no fire outbreak at the Ministry of Finance Headquarters, Abuja.
In a statement by Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, Special Adviser, Media & Communications, to the Hon Minister, Finance, Budget and National Planning, he stated that the Federal Ministry of Finance Headquarters is not on fire as reported on the social media. Rather there was an incident on the corridor in the basement involving an isolated battery Pack (Photo inset) which was quickly put out by the security personnel on duty.
