
Justice For Deborah: Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Calls For A Nationwide Peaceful Protest

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has called for a nationwide peaceful protest in demand for justice for Deborah, an Home Economics student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto who was m*rdered as a result of alleged blasphemy.
Recall that few day ago, a student was killed over a voice note which was alleged to be a blasphemy on prophet Muhammad.
Reacting to this, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN has called for a nationwide peaceful protest to demand for justice for the deceased.
In a letter signed by CANs General Secretary as directed by CANs President, on behalf of the Christian Association, the association has called for a nationwide peaceful pro”test in honor of “Deborah Yakubu who was gruesomely murdered on Thursday 12 May, 2022 at the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto in Sokoto State by some Islamic Extremists.”
The pro’test as directed, is to hold on 22 May 2022 by 3:00 pm in every secretariat of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Nationwide.
The pro’testers are also advised to avoid the streets to avert further loss of lives.
