Giving the growing crisis in Labour Party, Sampson Uchenna Charles has disassociated himself from the crisis and allegations of dragging the former Governor of Anambra State to Court
Earlier, there were Presidential campaign posters of Sampson Uchenna Charles as Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate, circulating the Media space which had generated a lot of reaction.
In a statement issued by Sampson Uchenna Charles, he stated categorically that Mr Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra State is “an Igbo elder statesman and also my older brother whom I respect and admire.”
Sampson who is the National leader of FANN/ SUC disclosed that that he is “currently reinforcing and rebuilding my National Movements (Foundation For A New Nigeria and the SUC Organisations) to keep sensitizing and creating awareness for the youths of Nigeria fir the rebuilding our Nation where equity, fairness and justice will reign supreme.”
He advised labour party to go and resolve their crisis and stop dragging him into it.
Similarly, the Factional Candidate of Labour Party Amb Jude Ezewanfor has withdrawn from the presidential race.
