Nnamdi Azikiwe University Debunks News Of School Fees Increase
The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State has Debunked the News circulating round Social Media of a Purported School Fees Increment.
Recall that there was a proposed protest by the students of Nnamdi Azikwe University scheduled to hold on July 12, 2021 over this recent hike in the schools fees.
In a Press Statement signed by Chika Gladys Ene, Ag. Head of Information and Public Relations on behalf of the school management, the school stated that there has not been an increament in tuition fees since the school’s harmonization of fees payable by students in 2019.
She further debunked the news circulating round social media stating that the news “is not only false, but misleading.”
She further advised the general public to disregard the news of the purported increament of school fees as they are false alarm geared towards destabilizing the peace being enjoyed in the University.
