OBIORA OKONKWO JOINS A NEW PARTY, PICKS GOVERNORSHIP TICKET
A Former PDP Stakeholder and aggrieved aspirant in the last concluded PDP Primaries, High Chief Obiora Okonkwo has officially left the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and joined a new party.
Just few days ago, High Chief Obiora Okonkwo had forwarded a resignation letter addressed to PDPs National Chairman and forwarded same to the party. In the letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party, High Chief Obiora registered his grievances and reasons for leaving the party.
According to the letter, one of his reasons for leaving the party is the general lack of discipline, manipulation of the parties last concluded primaries, unlawful dissolution of the party’s structure, among others.
Recall that High Chief Obiora Okonkwo is one of the major stakeholders and financier in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. His resignation from the party was unexpected and a terrible blow to the party.
High Chief Obiora Okonkwo has officially joined the Zenith Labour Party and has picked the Governship Ticket to contest for the Governorship Race come Novermber 6 2021 under the platform of Zenith Labour Party. His name has also been sent to INEC by the party for confirmation.
