Recall that few few weeks ago, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has given an altimatum to the Federal Government to release their Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was allegedly arrested in Kenya and is under trial in Nigeria
According to the statement from the Indigenous People of Biafra, failure to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on or before the 8th of August 2021 will warrant a Sit-At-Home and total lockdown of SouthEast, every Monday, starting from Monday, 9th of August 2021.

Ogidi Youths had taken to the streets of Ogidi to protest against the actions of the Indigenous People of Biafra who have insisted that the Lockdown will continue every Monday until their leader is released unconditionally.
