The Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Memorial Day Celebration usually comes up on the 26th Of November.
For some years now, in memory of the Biafran warlord, Bar. Raph Uwazurike, Leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) usually hosts thousands of persons and groups to this event.

Amb. Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu, wife of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu speaks about the event:
Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the Lion of Biafra, General of the People’s Army, the Son of the Rising Sun departed these earthly shores on 26 November 2011. November is the most significant month of his life…He was born in November, wedded in November, died in November.
Ojukwu day comes up in a few days, on 26 November 2021.
This is yet another opportunity for me to thank Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, leader of Bim/ MASSOB who constructed the Massive edifice of the Ojukwu Memorial Library and Conference Centre in tribute to our hero. Every year, he singlehandedly organizes the Ojukwu Day extravaganza in remembrance of the man who sacrificed all for his people. This event takes place each year in Imo State.
It is a sad irony that the only Memorial Rally ever held for Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in his home state of Anambra, which is controlled by APGA, his beloved party was in 2013 under the Obi led administration.
We look forward to the dawn of a new era in Anambra State, with greater faith in a more vibrant administration, with a better appreciation of the Labour of our Igbo heroes past…Do I hear Amen?
Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu…Our Hero, Amuma n’egbe Igwe, Odum n’eche Igbo, Udo eji akpu enyi, Ikemba Nnewi, Odenigbo Ngwo, Dikedioramma Ndi Igbo, You are gone But not forgotten. May your noble and valiant soul continue to Rest with the Lord….Amen.
