
Punch, Vanguard, Others, Barred From Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial Today
As the trial of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous People of Biafra (who was allegedly arrested few weeks ago in Kenya), continues today, the Department of State Service (DSS) has barred Punch, Vanguard and other media houses from the trial.
This was contained in a News report from Punch early this morning. According to the report, The Vanguard, Daily Trust, Tribune, Daily Sun, Daily Times, The Cable among others, were barred from covering the trial.
Only a few media houses were accredited from covering the trial scheduled to hold today. They include: African Independent Television, Channels TV, National Television Authority, Daily Post, This Day, Premium Times, The Nation, The Herald, Daily Independent, Television Continental.
