Former Aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Ex president of Nigeria has replied Tribune and other news agency who claimed Jonathan had joined to the All Progressive Congress, APC in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
Earlier in the week, we reported that a Fulani Group, Miyetti Allah purchased the 100 million Presidential Form for Former Nigeria’s President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
In a follow up report, we also brought you reports that the Ex-president rejected the form purchased by the Fulani Group.
In the early hours of today, there were reports that the Ex-president has left the People’s Democratic Party and joined the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Reacting to the reports, Reno has expressed his surprise and disappointment over the purported false report.
He took to his social media handle to express thus:
Dear Nigerian Trubune,
I read your attached story. You reported that former President Jonathan “officially joined the APC on Wednesday, 12th May 2022, in his country home in Otuoke.”
I am surprised that Wednesday was 12th May 2022. Even at that, are you aware that as at May 12, 2022, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan was not even in Nigeria and had not been in Nigeria for some days?
