Situation Report: Heavy Gridlock at Aroma Fly Over, Awka
There’s currently a heavy gridlock at Aroma, Awka, Anambra State.
According to our reporter on ground at the Aroma Flyover, Beside UBA, the traffic gridlock is caused by an accident that occurred few hours ago at the Aroma fly Over.
Recall that few hours ago, we reported of Accident at the Aroma Fly Over.
According to our reporter, a truck trying to follow through the Aroma Fly Over had hit the fly over barricade that restricts heavy vehicles from passing through the fly over.
The truck was probably trying to avoid the VIO officers on the road and has had to attempt passing through the Fly Over despite the barricade. The truck must have been on a very high speed.
At the moment, traffic warders are ground and trying to ease the traffic gridlock with great success as the road is gradually returning to normal.
Commuters are advised to use alternative routes.
