
Suspended Nnewi North TC Chairman Did Not Kill His Wife; Wife’s Elder Brother Reveals As He Withdraws Petition

The autopsy report of the late wife of Mr Mbazulike Iloka, Mba Mba, the suspended Transition Committee Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government Area, seems to have vindicated Mba Mba.
Mr Iloka who was earlier accused of Domestic Violence which allegedly led to the death of his wife appears to have been vindicated as elder brother of the deaseased withdraws petition after the emergence of the autopsy results on 16/08/2022.
According to Mr Uchenna Ezenwonye’s (first son of the deaseased family) statement contained in his withdrawal report addressed to the Anambra State Commissioner of Police, he disclosed that the autopsy result revealed that his sister’s was “not killed.”
Mr Iloka was earlier suspended following reports of his alleged murder of his wife. Although he refuted these claims and gave his own side of the story in an interview with Anaedonline.
Consequently, there were reports that the Suspended TC Chairman was arrested by the police following Mr Uchenna’s petition. Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo also ordered a medical investigation into the matter.
In an affidavit and an accompanying letter dated 17/08/2022 and signed by Mr Uchenna, Mr Uchenna has withdrawn the petition written to the State Police Commisioner, citing autopsy result conducted and advice from pathologist which revealed that his sister was not killed by the said husband.
