The Prestigious Ozo Title Taking Ceremony of Chief Engr. Theodore Ezekwe
Hush Gist correspondent was on ground at Chief Engr. Theodore Ezekwe’s residence in Okpala-Oragwu Kindred, Ezinwoye, Nnukwu Clan, Adazi-Nnukwu as Chief Engr. Theodore Ezekwe joins the ancient and prestigious Ozo Title Institution of Adazi-Nnukwu.
This event lasted from 7th to 13th February 2021 and attracted lots of persons and dignitaries within and outside Anambra. The likes of Senator Victor Umeh, Former Senator, Anambra Central Senatorial District (and a Classmate of Chief Engr Theodre Ezekwe at BMGS, Adazi-Nnukwu), the Enugu Sports Club, Enugu, Mrs. Uju Nwogu (Anambra State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice) among others were on ground to witness this colorful ceremony and pay homoge to the newly initiated Ozo Title Holder.
The event started with a Mass that was officiated by Bishop Jonas Benson, the Auxiliary Bishop of Awka.
In the Seven(7) Days of the Ozo Title Ceremony, there was lots of merriment with eating and drinking that everyone who attended the event had something to eat and drink and some to even go home with. As custom demands, the ceremony was supposed to be a merriment for all.
Indeed, the Adazi-Nnukwu people have a rich cultural heritage which was well displayed in this ceremony.
