UMEH IS PART OF APGA’S PROBLEM- ULOKA RECOUNTS
Following the recent twist in the leadership tussle of the All Progressives Grand Alliance party (APGA) and who should be recognised as the authentic Candidate of the party in forthcoming Governorship election, a former National Chairman of APGA, Senator and the Chairman of APGA Reconciliation Committee has called on Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji KSJI whom they believed have lost the ticket of the party following the latest judgment of the Kano Appeal Court that set aside the Judgement of Musa Ubale of Birinin Kudu High Court in Jigawa State which earlier mandated INEC to deal with Jude Okeke and and Umeoji alone as National Chairman and Governorship Candidate.
Umeh who reacted to the news of the Appeal Court decision pleaded that Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji should accept the decision of the Appellate court and return home to APGA with his esteem supporters, for the party to win the November Guber poll.
He pleaded extensively and asked the Federal Lawmaker to forgive and forget whatever ill that was done to him in the past to save APGA.
Reacting to the plea of Senator Victor Umeh, the Director of Media for Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji Campaign Organisation has quickly described that as an emotional blackmail which is not going to stand.
Uloka Chukwubuikem noted that the Judgement of the Kano Appeal Court is a miscarriage of Justice and the camp of Hon. Umeoji already filed an Appeal to further challenge the decision at the Apex Court and that the late hour crocodile tears of a divisive actor in the APGA party can not stop their move to restore the mandate given to Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji by the entire members of APGA.
Uloka rather advised Umeh to reserve his plea and counsel for Willie Obiano, Victor Oye and Charles Soludo not otherwise, and that the camp of Chukwuma Umeoji are hopeful of a favourable outcome at the Apex court as their lawyers have vowed not leave any stone unturned in their quest to restore hope to the APGA party through the courtrooms as it is a Constitutional right.
“Umeh has confirmed that what they got from Kano Court is miscarriage of Justice which won’t stand the test of time and more marathon legal actions, rather a pyrrhic victory and temporal set back for APGA and Umeoji; the law court is the last hope of the common man and it is our right to challenge the matter to the Apex court which we believe would correct the anomalies done by the Appeal Court in Kano.
“Umeh should be told in plain language that he too contributed to the numerous issues of APGA by turning himself a divisive tool, he is so bankrupt in character and any justification to ask his victim not to pursue justice, gone are the days where men of character and value would allow divisive tool play on their emotions and sensibility”
It is on record that the Kano Appeal Court Special panel erred on many grounds, they overruled themselves and did not even give a clear judgment on whether it is Jude Okeke/Umeoji or Oye/Soludo rather a set aside order of the Jigawa Judgement which further compound woes for the party, our team of lawyers are already at the Supreme Court to have this madness and gross judicial rascality interpreted and justice served rightly, Uloka Chukwubuikem said.
He further called on the supporters of Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji to stay calm and hopeful, that their principal remains the candidate of APGA until a court of higher Jurisdiction orders otherwise, hence what happened at Kano Appeal was a waste of time and State resources and not judgement.
We can not put the hope of millions of APGA and Anambra Electorates because of one dubious Umeh, the fate remains that Professor Charles Sọludo is not yet the candidate for APGA and can never be, he is rather celebrating nothingness and it won’t be too long before the law catches up on them – Uloka thundered as he concluded.
