Valentine Ozigbo is the Candidate of PDP- Awka High Court
INEC had over the weekend, published her list of candidates for the Anambra 2021 Governorship Election. The list had omitted the PDP. In other words, there was no candidate published to flag the PDP Governorship flag; an omission which INEC claimed was as a result of a previous court order.
Recall that the People’s Democratic Party had conducted two fractional primaries which had produced two candidates respectively. Ever since the Primaries, they have been in different court cases.
Today, a Federal High Court sitting in Awka has few minutes ago, cleared the air on the orders it granted on the application by Genevieve Ekwochi. The court made it abundantly clear that it did not order for Valentine Chineto Ozigbo’s name not to be published.
To avoid any other doubt and to clear the air further, it ordered that the name of Mr. Valentine Ozigbo should immediately be published by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
